Bayley move top and pile pain on Chester Road

Sir John Bayley piled more pain on Chester Road as they won there 12-4 to boost their title chances and go top of the table. Paul Evans led the way for them 5, with Martin Lloyd best for the home side 12, who are still bottom. Meole Brace beat Bylet 9-5 to move level on points with 6th placed Wrockwardine Wood. Nige Bound was best winner for them 6, with Simon Rhodes best for the visitors 15, who have moved one place up to 11th, but still with a game in hand.

Sir John Bayley now lead Newport by 4 points, while Chester Road trail Ifton by 2 having played a game more. Mark Thomas and Paul Evans just failed to go ahead of Lewis Scott at the top of the Shropshire Media & Print Predictions League.
