On This Day: 25th July 2003

On this day in 2003, there were three away wins and one of the stranger results we get in the league. Archibald Worthington had 4 winners at home to Ford, but won the aggregate by 8, so technically won 6-8. There were two 10-4 away wins as Meole Brace and St Georges won at Battlefield and Childs Ercall, while Castlefields won 8-6 at Wem USC. Chester Road only got 4 winners at Donnington Wood, while the two biggest winners of the night were Wrockwardine Wood and Sir John Bayley 11-3 over Ifton and Craven Arms respectively.
