Ifton and Hanmer both earned good home wins to move slightly clear of the bottom in their rearranged games against their rivals. Ifton beat Bylet 9-5, but would have been ruing wasting a 6-2 lead as Bylet fought back to gain a good away haul. Martin Jones was best winner 7 for the home side while Jamie Taylor was best for the Islanders winning 11, with namesake Rich earning a vital 20 win at number 12.
Hanmer beat Wem USC 10-4 to keep their opponents bottom of the table and move 9 points clear of them into 11th place. Lee Peate was best winner again for the home side 6 while Paul Gleave was top card for the visitors winning 9, who are now three points adrift of Ifton at the bottom of the table.
There are three rearranged games to arrange now, with Hanwood and Sir John Bayley, as well as Wrockwardine Wood against St Georges, this Wednesday, while Castlefields versus Bowring is the following Wednesday on the 23rd August.
