They won it for the first time in 1997 against Chester Road and then again in 1998 versus Battlefield and 2000 against Chester Road again. They had a wait of 6 years then to win it again in 2006, beating Meole Brace, while they beat Chester Road for a third time in 2008. They then have won it since at 5 year intervals, in 2013 versus Bowring on the Bylet, where Mike Beer won 0, and then again this year beating Meole Brace on Telepost. They also lost in the final in 2001 on the old British Sugar versus Donnington Wood, having the first 6 losers. They lost in 2007 on Ellesmere against St Georges, and then again in 2016 versus Meole Brace in a shock loss on Bicton.
