The playoffs were introduced by the Shropshire Premier Bowling League in order for new teams (who have won a local league) to be able to apply and then enter the league if they beat the bottom placed team in the SPBL. Over the years we have seen many close play off finals, however the premier teams have the upper hand with only Ford, Newport, Bylet, Bowring, Hanwood, Hanmer and Highley beating the bottom placed Premier team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
