Well done to our Blue team for winning the Veterans Inter League title for a second time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They weren’t troubled this year, winning the final by 29 against NSVCGBA A on Wrockwardine Wood, captain Mark Thomas the best of 6 winners 21-9. In the Semi Finals they defeated Mid Shropshire A, the team that beat them in last year’s final, by 13, Nick Davies best winner 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They had beaten Mid Shropshire A in the groups by 11, Martin Williams best winner 10, and also Tanners A by 27, Martin Williams best again 21-6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Yellow team missed out in the groups despite winning 2 of their 3 games. They beat NSCGBA A first game by 6, Martin Beddow best winner 11, but then lost to Mid Shropshire C by 17 despite John Cooke’s best win of 11. In their last game they defeated Tanners B by 6, Martin Beddow and Craig Dugdale best winners 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
