Callum Wraight of Castlefields is one of the favourites for the competition and has Roy Moxham first round, while his team mate Paul Williams has a former team mate in Steve Freer first round. Sir John Bayley have four players in the field as they hope to transfer their form in the league to individually. Shropshire Merit winner Spencer Clarke has a tough opener against Dave McDermott, while Gordon Hawkins plays James Higgins and Josh Hale takes on Mick Lynch. Ross Dunkley played one game for the Bayley earlier in the season, and plays Daniel Jones, who used to play for Ifton in this league. Lewis Scott of St Georges won the Player of the Month award in June and will hope to keep that form up when he plays Joe Bown.
