{"id":11090,"date":"2019-10-16T00:15:50","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T23:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thespbl.co.uk\/news\/?p=11090"},"modified":"2019-10-16T00:15:50","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T23:15:50","slug":"october-meeting-summary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thespbl.co.uk\/news\/?p=11090","title":{"rendered":"October Meeting Summary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please see below a summary of what happened in the October meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A loss of over \u00a31000 this year for the league because of lack of sales on the Anniversary Book, as well as increased costs on Programmes and Raffle Prizes, and buying Inter League shirts.<\/li>\n<li>A proposal to be sent to the SCGBA AGM regarding player eligibility in the County &amp; Shropshire Cups, the County Merit being on a rotational basis and dress code not been applied in County Competition qualifiers.<\/li>\n<li>Details of the new Inter League competition to be sent to clubs to be discussed by players and talked about again at the March Meeting.<\/li>\n<li>The league to fall in with BCGBA rules, black tailored shorts can be worn for any league match or competition.<\/li>\n<li>Rules to be proposed with regards to team pulling out before or after the March Meeting, with a fine for those who do afterwards.<\/li>\n<li>A proposal that players can be transfer if they have not played more than 4 games for a premier league club and before 31st May.<\/li>\n<li>The League Merit to be kept with qualifiers, date to be determined after the AGM concludes.<\/li>\n<li>Dates and venues for the Doubles have been agreed, once clubs have confirmed it will be released on here.<\/li>\n<li>The league to start on Friday 3rd April, with a Wednesday game on 8th April, and finishing on Friday 18th September.<\/li>\n<li>2020 Presentation Evening at Burway on Friday 9th October with \u00a3100 on food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please see below a summary of what happened in the October meeting: A loss of over \u00a31000 this year for the league because of lack of sales on the Anniversary Book, as well as increased costs on Programmes and Raffle Prizes, and buying Inter League shirts.
