Two Sir John Bayley bowlers hope to add the Evans-Pritchatt trophy to the league title while Darrell Handley of Highley also takes part. There are doubles and singles matches, with Spencer and Darrell actually teaming up to take on Susan Hill and Kate Harrop. Josh Hale partners Owen Jackson and plays Amanda Nicholas and Tracey Baker. In the Singles Darrell has Ellie Chandler, Spencer Clarke plays Debbie Talbot and Josh Hale takes on the Isle of Man representative.\r\n\r\nGood luck to our three representatives.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThere is an article here<\/strong><\/a> about the event from the Warrington Guardian.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFull details are below about the event.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSATURDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2019 9.30AM AT BANK PARK PAVILION WARRINGTON\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTHE INAUGURAL BATTLE OF THE SEXES\r\nTHE PINK LADIES V THE MEN IN BLACK\r\nSponsored by Grange Valley Amusements, Warrington Borough Council, Verite CM Ltd and Lynn Pritchatt\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe itinerary for the day is as follows:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n9.50am – Players Parade and Welcome\r\n10.00am – Doubles Matches\r\n1.00pm-1.30pm Lunch Break\r\n1.30pm – Singles Matches\r\n5.30pm – Presentation of the Pritchatt-Evans Trophy made by the Mayor of Warrington and award of commemorative medals\r\n5.45pm – Players and Guests Buffet\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHot and cold refreshments will be available all day.\r\nAll donations from this event will be going to The Mel Evans MBE Foundation Registered Charity Number 1185479. The newly formed Mel Evans MBE Foundation will support research into the causes of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in addition to supporting the development of grassroots Crown Green Bowling.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCurrently there is no known cause of MND and why healthy and fit men and women are struck down with the condition. Since the ice bucket challenge, MND has received little in the way of significant publicity. MND has no effective treatment or cure and, upon diagnosis, individuals and their families are handed a death sentence with not a shred of hope. Strong words you may say but sadly they are true.
