They won their first game against Birchley St Marys, coming back from an early deficit 13 point deficit off two games. Steve Broome had a fine 19 win over Phil Lee and Liam Stevens won 9 to bring them back into the match. Dan Taylor won 19 and Martin Williams 15 to bring the gap to just 3 with Josh Cotton left on the green. He played well in the corners to win 12 and give the Wrockites a 6 shot victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2nd round and they were 4 up off the first four after two 14 victories by Steve Broome and Liam Stevens. But in the back four despite another two winners, 13 and 19 by Stu Rutter and Martin Williams respectively, they weren&#8217;t able to hold onto their lead, losing out by 4 chalks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sir John Bayley&#8217;s Scott Simpson and Paul Evans both won for Willenhall Nordley but they lost out by 6 to Dearne Sports first game.
