They stayed unbeaten at home, better than in 2018, and also picked up two away wins at Chester Road and Burway, as well as drawing at Wrockwardine Wood. They scored 4 or 5 in the other 10 away games, not quite enough to be able to challenge the top two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2022 Aims:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is very much a season of consolidation for Newport this season as, after missing last season, they have lost most of their team that finished the 2019 season.
