{"id":12752,"date":"2022-10-18T23:22:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T22:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thespbl.co.uk\/news\/?p=12752"},"modified":"2022-10-18T23:22:02","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T22:22:02","slug":"october-meeting-summary-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thespbl.co.uk\/news\/?p=12752","title":{"rendered":"October Meeting Summary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Below is a summary of our October Meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>We are looking at doing an Inter-Area competition involving South Shropshire, North Shropshire, Telford and Shrewsbury as an 8 a side knockout on a Saturday evening. <\/li><li>A proposal to the AGM about the removal of rule about having a playoff if teams finish level on points at the top or bottom of the league. <\/li><li>The league are encouraging clubs to put on food after the match, and will ask clubs in March who are putting on food for the 2023 season. <\/li><li>The Qualifiers and Finals for the Merit will be on a Friday night in September.  <\/li><li>The Mike Hinton Pairs will be on Saturday 15th April at a venue to be confirmed in Telford. <\/li><li>A rule about players in the Alan Mayhew Trophy Final having to have played four games for their club to be proposed at the AGM. <\/li><li>The league season will start on Friday 7th April. <\/li><li>The Pool A&amp;B to be played at the start of the season as an one day format. <\/li><li>The Presentation Evening format to be changed. <\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Below is a summary of our October Meeting: We are looking at doing an Inter-Area competition involving South Shropshire, North Shropshire, Telford and Shrewsbury as an 8 a side knockout on a Saturday evening.
