Kevin was then 17-14 up before Tom got his way back into the match and won 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clay Flattley was 10-8 down on Josh Cotton but then only conceded two more to win 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2nd Round:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ash Wellings found himself 10-5 down on Cedric Bancroft and then 17-11 behind, but got back and won 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul Roberts was 8-5 down versus Simon Dreher but dominated to move 17-10 up and then win 13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Williams struggled to start with against Spencer Clarke to be 14-9 down, but then had a run of 11 and won 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pete Griffiths was 11-7 down early on against Nick Lewis, but went 13-11 up and wasn&#8217;t behind again to win 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Vickers had a good start to lead 9-1 and 16-6 over Connor Whitehall and won 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Handley found himself 9-2 down, but from there only conceded three more to Wayne Phillips to win 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clay Flattley was 3-0 down versus Dave Bowen, but only conceded three more to win 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Josh Cotton was 10-6 up on Kevin Nicholas but then 12-10 down. From 15-13 down he ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1st Round:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ash Wellings raced 14-3 up on Richard Stretton, and kept this lead to win 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cedric Bancroft had an early 8-3 lead on Danny Nixon which extended to 16-5. But Danny came back to 20-19 down but Cedric finished it off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul Roberts was fairly level with Martin Gaut until he took a 19-14 lead and won 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simon Dreher had an early 8-1 lead over Phil Clapham and Phil couldn&#8217;t close the gap as Simon won 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pete Griffiths was 9-6 down versus Chris Baker but had a run to lead 12-9. From 12 across Pete only conceded two more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nick Lewis was 12-4 up on Paul Stretton but then only was 18-17 up. However he held his nerve to win 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Williams was down early on but from 12 across only dropped one more chalk against Alan Bailey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spencer Clarke had a quick 8-2 lead which was eroded to a 15-14 lead by Simon Cookson. Spencer then ran out in 2s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wayne Phillips was 6-2 down versus Ellie Bowen and then 12-10 down. But he only conceded 2 more to win 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Handley was 8-4 down to Tom Killen and then 14-10 down. But he then went 20-15 up and held his composure to win 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Vickers had a close game to only lead 8-6 early on, but then went 15-6 up and won 9 against Lee Dale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connor Whitehall was 8-6 down to Ashley Downing, but then went 16-8 up and 19-12. Ashley got back to 16 but Connor got the two he needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Nicholas was 12-7 and 16-10 up on Robin Clarke and held of a late fightback to win 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave Bowen went from 7-5 down to lead 16-7 against Owen Cookson. But Owen got back to 16-14 down however couldn&#8217;t get ahead as Dave won 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Josh Cotton was only 11-8 up on Paul Dale but then virtually ran out to win 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clay Flattley was in form as he led Gary Whitehall 11-1 and ran out from 15-5 up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morning Session:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifiers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Beeston was 16-2 up on James Seville, but James got back to 16-13 down, however Matt held on to win 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ian Howell was 12-6 up and 15-11 up on Dave McDermott before running out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reece Farr was 6-1 and 11-6 up on Jamie King before Jamie got back ton 13 across. It was close thereafter before Reece scored two last end in the corners to win 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nathan Dawes was always a few ahead until 13-11 up before then running out on Marc Franks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Beeston went 12-2 up on Russ Prosser and Russ got back to 18-16 down but then Matt ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Seville was 10-5 up on Nick Jones but Nick then went 11-10 up. It was nip and tuck then until James went 19-15 up and won 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave McDermott went 10-6 down against Bruno Heath Bruno Heath but then 14-10 up. Bruno got back to lead 16-15 and it was close until Dave won 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ian Howell was 11-6 up on Stuart Rutter but Stuart, with the help of a few 2s, got back to lead 18-17 and won 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reece Farr was 10-5 up on Rob Evans before Rob hit back to move 13-10 ahead. Reece then went 14-13 up but then 17-14 down. He then virtually ran out to win 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie King raced 13-2 up on Dave Semper and maintained this to win 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marc Franks was 13-1 up on Greg Fordham and kept this up to win 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nathan Dawes was 6-2 and 12-7 down against Ryan Walters, but got back to 13 across. From 18-15 down he won 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Beeston was always ahead against Kris Johnson, leading 13-7 before being pegged back to trail 14-13. He then went on to win 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Russ Prosser was 8-4 down against Rich Proudlove before scoring six 2s over the next few ends to go 19-12 up and win 13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Seville was 13-8 up on James Fitzpatrick before James got back to 16-15 down. However Seville then ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nick Jones was 11-4 down against Colin Bastable, but then went 14-11 up and won 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave McDermott didn&#8217;t waste much time in racing 6-0 and 15-2 up against Rikki Higgs and won 3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuart Rutter was 4-1 down but went 11-4 up in the corners. John worked his way back to 16 across from 16-10 down and led a jack toucher. Stuart thought beat it and ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ian Howell was always ahead of Pete Gardiner going 5-0 and 11-4 up and went on to win 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reece Farr dominated Tom Roden to be 4-0, and 14-5 up and won 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rob Evans was down early on against Adam Weaver 9-6 and 15-10 but then had a run of 10 to go 20-15 up and won 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave Semper went 10-1 up in 2s over Rich Dandy before Rich found himself 11-10 up. It was then close before Dave was ahead 19-17 and won 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie King had a quick start to go 8-0 up over Ed Proudlove and maintained this lead to win 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marc Franks went 7-2 and 12-8 up and then ran out over Craig Jones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greg Fordham went 14-9 up on Steve Lediard but Steve hit back to lead 16-15. It went 17 across before Greg ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nathan Dawes raced 13-2 up on Phil Cookson and kept this lead to win 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryan Walters had a close game with Jacob Ash with neither player establishing a lead of over 3.
