From 14-11 down he went 20-16 up and won 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Penlington was 14-7 down on Leighton Roberts but got back to 17 across and then ran out from 20-17 down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Jones from 6-2 down to lead 14-6 on Natty Tonks, but Natty got back to 18 across. However Dan won 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris Stretch was 14-5 up on Pete Varney and kept this lead to win 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark Holden went 9-3 up on Matt Hocknull before Matt got back to 10-9 down. However Mark kicked on to lead 18-9 and held off a comeback to win 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Callum Mitchell went 13-4 ahead of Steve Pratt and then 20-10. Steve got back to 15 but Callum got the one he needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andy Armstrong had an early 10-6 deficit on John Rawlinson but went 15-12 up and went on to win 176. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leighton Roberts raced 15-2 up on Michael McDonnell and won 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Penlington had a good run to go 10-1 up before Matt Horton got back to 11-9 down. However Adam had another run to win 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Natty Tonks was never behind on Jimmy Hynes to then lead 16-9 and won 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Jones went 13-10 up from 10-7 down on Jon Palmer. Jon got back to 19 across but Dan then got out with a 2 next end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pete Varney from 12-11 down on Martin Davies went 17-12 up and won 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris Stretch was 5-0 up on Sarah Edmondson and led 10-4 and 17-7 before winning 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark Holden was 7-2 down on Gerwyn Davies and then 15-9. But he only conceded 3 more to win 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Hocknull raced 12-2 up on John McDonnell and kept this lead to win 9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Callum Mitchell went 7-3 up and then 14-10 ahead of Carl Wilkins. Carl couldn&#8217;t get back level as Callum won 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steve Pratt was 9-5 and 15-13 up on Gerald Merry and just edged the game 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andy Armstrong was 10-3 up on Rob Carter but a run of five 2s helped Rob go 15-10 up. Andy though got back to 16 across and won 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Rawlinson went 6-0 up on Ryan Hocknull and then 14-7. Ryan got back to 15 across and led 18-17 but John then ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leighton Roberts was 15-3 up on Karl Jones and kept this advantage to win 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael McDonnell got off to a quick start to lead 11-3 and then 19-10 of Chris Slater. Chris got back to 19 across but Michael won 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Penlington had an early 5-0 deficit and then 12-10, but he ran out on Wayne Phillips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Horton went 7-4 up on Michael Warrington but then was 17-13 down, but he ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Natty Tonks was 8-4 and then 13-7 ahead of Carl Pemberton before winning 9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jimmy Hynes went 9-3 ahead of Eamonn Doran and extended this lead to win 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jon Palmer was always in front of Darren Sanford to lead 14-6 and won 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Jones was 5-0 and 10-5 up on Josh Mordue before Josh got back to trail 14-13. However Dan got back in and won 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morning Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifiers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tommy Johnstone was only 7-5 up on Matt Beeston before going 12-7 up and winning 9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Palmer went 7-2 ahead of Kevin Handley and ran out from 15-9 up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Killen went 18-10 up from 10 across before holding off a fightback from Lee Johnstone to win 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin Gaut raced 11-1 up on James Davison and despite James getting back to 15-11 down, he won 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Beeston trailed 8-2 against Cheryl Caswell before leading 9-8 in the corners. It was nip and tuck until Matt won from 20-19 down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tommy Johnstone was 5-3 down on Geraint Booth before going 12-5 up and won 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Handley was 12-3 up on Liam Badwick and kept this advantage to win 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Palmer was 12 across with Greg Fordham but then proceeded to run out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Killen had a close game with Gwerydd Buckland with no more than 4 between them. From 17-14 down he won 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Johnstone was 3 across with Ben Parkes before racing 18-3 up and winning 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin Gaut went 5-1 down on John Bailey before going 8-6 up. John went ahead again at 13-9 and 19-16 but Martin came back to win 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Davison went 12-6 ahead of Matt Gilmore but Matt closed the deficit to be 20 across before James got out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Round 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Beeston raced 12-1 up on Gareth P Hughes and held of a fightback at 17-14 to win 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheryl Caswell became the first woman to win in the competition after going 18-11 up on Andy Poole from 11-8 down and won 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tommy Johnstone was 7-3 up on Ian Booth but Ian led 8-7. Tommy led 13-8 and 17-13 and won 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geraint Booth was 6-0 and 12-4 up on Gus Needham before Gus got back to 14-12 down. Geraint however went 19-13 up and won 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kevin Handley was 6-4 down on Gavin Skidmore but went 11-6 and 16-8 up, and won 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liam Badwick went 9-0 up on Dave Morgan-Jones and kept this lead to win 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Palmer ran out from 11-3 up on Dave Turner in the corners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greg Fordham was 12-5 up on Paul Roberts before Paul got back to 12 across. However Greg ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gwerydd Buckland was 4-1 down on Martin Lloyd before going 10-4 up. Martin got back to trail 15-11 but Gwerydd ran out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Killen was 7-5 up on Chris Mordue but then went 13-7 down. Tom then had a run to lead 16-13 and kept this slender lead to win 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Johnstone was never behind against Andy Marshall and ran out from 15-14 up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ben Parkes went 6-0 up on Craig Skidmore and despite Craig getting back to be 14-13 behind he won 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin Gaut had a very close game with Sarah Skidmore but was always just ahead to win 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Bailey was only 5-4 up on Lee Bowden before having an 11 break to win 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Davison had a close game with Jamie Brookes before going 18-13 up and winning 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Gilmore was 7 across with Tom Roden but only let Tom score two more. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Full results are here.
