They got 6 winners at nearest rivals Sir John Bayley, and then won at St Georges 10-6 and got 6 winners at Wrockwardine Wood in three of their toughest away games. Two home wins followed before a loss at Hanwood meant they were 24 points behind the league leaders after 14 games played. But they won another 4 games double figures, including two 13-3 away wins at Bylet and Hanmer. A loss at Ifton broke the momentum, but a big 11-3 win against their main rivals Sir John Bayley regained it. 6 wins, all in double figures, meant they won the league on games won, having won one less match than the Bayley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
