Castlefields won the first ever Newport 4 Person Team after beating Woodman Mount Pleasant by 20 in the final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They had all four winners, led by Josh Hale winning 13, as Mark Taylor won 16, Adam Jones 17 and Wayne Rogers 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Semi Finals Castlefields defeated the Wrockwardine Wood side by 14 with three winners, Wayne Rogers the best of them 9, with just Tom Killen winning for the Wrockites. Woodman beat the other Wrockwardine Wood side by 7, leading by 16 off two games as Dan Davies and Nick Wyer won 7 and 19 respectively, Joe Dicken’s 13 win coming too late for the Wrockites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to all 16 teams entering and making it a successful competition. Thank you to Newport for hosting at such late notice and providing a good quality green. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
