Hoss look for first win, Wem face Wrockites, Burway travel to Bayley<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horsehay are looking for their first win of the season as they entertain St Georges in week 4 of the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Spokesman Steve Reeves says “we welcome St Georges to the Hoss tonight looking for any sort of win. We are all eager to get our first win of the season under our belts and hoping that will then be the catalyst moving forward.\u00a0We know as a team we have more to give and hopefully that will be tonight.” The Dragons won their first game last week and will be looking to build on that. Wem USC face a tough task as they host a flying Wrockwardine Wood side who won 14-0 last week. Wrockites captain Liam Stevens says they’ve had a “really tough start for us to navigate this year, would have had your hand off if offered current points tally three weeks ago. Cracking result last Friday against a solid team – gives me a great headache for selection\u00a0tonight.” Wem skipper Andy Marshall says “we are excited at facing a top quality Wrockwardine Wood. We always have quality battles against them and we expect a very tough match. Hopefully we can get our first home win of the season.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burway have had a good start themselves and sit in 3rd place ahead of a trip to the league leaders Sir John Bayley. Captain Adam Dovey knows it is a “really tough game against a team full of county players. We know it\u2019s going to be tough but we\u2019ve had a great start to the season and hopefully we can carry that on tonight. Top three at the moment and on for a title\u00a0charge!” The Bayley will be looking for a good home win to keep themselves top ahead of Castlefields, who will look for a big home win over the Bylet. The Bylet though got 5 winners at Adderley and have had two good home results so far. Adderley host Hanwood having had a solid start to the season themselves. Captain Connor Whitehall says “we welcome Hanwood to Adderley tomorrow night. After a decent start to the season we\u2019ll be looking for any sort of home win. But whatever the result I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll have a good nights bowling with a decent bunch of lads.” Hanwood come off a good home win last week but know they will need to improve their away form if they are to break back into the top six again. Ifton come off a fine away win at Meole Brace last week and entertain a Highley side reeling from just two winners at home to Castlefields last week. Hanmer host Meole Brace with both coming off disappointing returns last week, Meole though will have had 6 play on Hanmer already in the first round of the Audlem Special Events Team Alan Mayhew Trophy, so will hope that practice means more winners tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
