Meole face Wrockites test, Top & Bottom two at home<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meole Brace face a tough test as they entertain Wrockwardine Wood in week 11 of the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Captain Chris Jones says “we welcome a strong team front to back in Wrockwardine Wood, who are going well again this season, to Meole. We are looking to try and back up a good result last week and hoping to give them a tough test.” Both teams come off good wins last week after disappointing results the week before. The top two are both at home looking for big home wins. Leaders Castlefields host Ifton, who are unbeaten in 7 games now, so known they are in for a tough game. Second placed Sir John Bayley will look to close the 13 point gap as they host Woore, who have won 3 out of their last 4, while the Bayley will look to bounce back from their shock defeat to Wem USC last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wem will look to build on that win as they travel to Adderley. Adderley have got a decent gap to bottom placed Bylet now but will still want to keep winning their home games to take no chances. Skipper Gary Whitehall says “Wem gave a good performance at ours last week in the Whitchurch league and their recent premier results have been very good so we expect a tough game. There wasn\u2019t a lot in the match last season and probably won\u2019t be again.” Bylet will be looking for a win at home to a struggling Burway side to have any chance of avoiding bottom spot, with Burway desperate to halt their slide that has seen them lose their last 5 games. Highley host St Georges looking to move back into the top half, while St Georges come off two good wins. Hanwood have seen their great start halted and will be looking to win at Hanmer to keep up with the top four. Hanmer have a gap now to the pack above so know a win is needed to start looking to move up the table rather than avoid being near the bottom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
