It promises to be an exciting season at the top and bottom of the table.<\/p>\n<p>The 1st night sees two former champions in Chester Road and Castlefields try and fight their way back to the top of the table. Chester Road have a new captain in Martin Lloyd and a couple of new faces but will face a test in Castlefields buoyed by the return of five former players in Luke Jones, Andy Judson, Callum Wraight, Clay Flattley and Dave Hoffman.<\/p>\n<p>Hadley USC take on St Georges with Hadley having lost a few players over the Winter looking to consolidate. St Georges have added Andy James and Simon Madeley to their squad and will be looking to move up the table this season. Down the road sees an intriguing Telford derby between Wrockwardine Wood and Sir John Bayley. Wrockwardine Wood had a poor start last season and will be looking for a much quicker start this season but will face a tough test against a much improved Sir John Bayley side. The Bayley have gone over the border to add Chris Ward, Gordon Hawkins, Scott Simpson and with the return of Sam Plant from his dancing duties will fancy their chances of an early away win.<\/p>\n<p>Burway face a long trip to Ifton who have strengthened with the return of Lewis Scott and Craig Griffiths amongst other signings. Burway are giving youth a chance this season and will be looking for a successful season like last year. Wem USC host\u00a0Archibald Worthington in a tie where both teams have lost key players from last season. But both will be confident that other players can step up to the plate and guide them to a good season.<\/p>\n<p>In the last tie of Friday night sees Meole Brace with the loss of Nick Davies take on a confident Bowring side led again by Rich Lawson. Meole Brace have finished runners up the last two seasons and are hoping they can go one step further by making a good start. But it won&#8217;t be easy against a Bowring side who are looking for a top half finish this season.<\/p>\n<p>Newport v Bylet is postponed due to a fixture concession by Bylet, meaning the champions and new signing Jamie King will have to wait to get their season up and running.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday sees the start of the 2015 Flowfit Shropshire Premier League.
