Castlefields have joined Archibald Worthington and Chester Road in withdrawing due to cup commitments which means Ifton, Burway and Wem USC all receive byes into the Semi Finals. However there are still three top class all Telford ties to take place. In Pool A champions Newport and St Georges clash for the third team in 5 days. St Georges beat Newport 10-4 at home on Friday in the league whilst Newport won by 25 at Sinclair in the Harris Cup Final. But as these were both 12 a side it could make a huge difference just being 8 a side. The game takes place on Bowring Premier Green and St Georges won on there this season 8-6 while Newport lost 10-4 so the green may favour the Dragons.<\/p>\n<p>Over in Pool B Hadley USC and Bylet meet for the second time in 5 days after their clash in Bridgnorth last Friday. Bylet won that game 12-2 to seal their Premier League status for next season and will be buoyed by this fact going into the game on St Georges Bottom Green. But Hadley have reached the semi finals the last two years and will be looking to go one better this year. The top two teams in Pool B, those who finished 7th and 8th, meet over on Newport premier green. Wrockwardine Wood were unfortunate to finish outside the top 6 this season but this does mean they will start the Pool B competition as favourites being the highest placed team. Bowring though finished just below them and know how to win the competition having done so in 2012.
