He beat former Wrockwardine Wood player Ant Aldridge in the final 14, having beaten Ryan Prosser 18 in the semis with Ant beating Carl Fielding 12. Both players beat Premier League opposition in the Quarter Finals, Scott beating Bylet&#8217;s Rob Steventon, who enjoyed a fine run on qualifying for his first major competition, 16 whilst Premier League Averages winner Rob Burroughs was edged out 18 by Ant. Glyn Picknell had suffered 20 heartbreak against Ant Bracken in the 2nd round, after coming through a hard game against his brother Mark 13 first game, with Hanwood&#8217;s Greg Smith also losing 20 against Rob Burroughs 2nd round. Andrew Judson, Justin Pegram, Elliott McGuinness, Chris Ward and Pete Grimston all lost first round.
