They have had a couple of poor weeks, only 2 at Burway and then only beating Ifton 9-5, so will be hoping to make up for those games with a big home win. Captain Tony Rhodes says we “need a massive win against Hadley to again stay with the pack and heap a little more pressure on them at the bottom. Psychologically if we can get points on the board then it helps.” The last three years has seen two 11-3s and a 12-2 for St Georges and they will need at least that to move a few clear of the leading trio. Hadley have a big week coming up, after tonight they face the team directly above them, Bylet, at home in what is a crucial 28 pointer. But “it is important we get as many points as possible tonight before Friday’s game, we need to get as close to Bylet as possible and put them under a bit more pressure. It isn’t going to be easy, we don’t do well up the top green, and we have 5 players missing from Friday. But the 5 coming in have all played Premier League this season and will be hungry to prove a point, so hopefully they will do!”

Don’t forget you need to do this prediction in the Predictions League before 7 tonight for it to count.

St Georges will be looking for a big win tonight as they entertain bottom placed Hadley USC, in a game brought forward from Friday 29th July.
