ECC, mainly made up of players from Premier League hopefuls Donnington Wood, have a 1 shot lead over M&B Cheslyn Hay, who feature two players from Sir John Bayley and a trio from Hadley USC. ECC play Penn at home, who also feature players from the league; three from Sir John Bayley and Hadley USC and two from Wrockwardine Wood, and hope to capture the league for the first time in a long while. M&B travel to Willenhall Nordley A, who feature Paul Evans and Scott Simpson from the Bayley, and would need a shock win there as well as one for Penn to claim the title. Reigning Champions Chadsmoor, who have featured several players from former Champions Newport throughout the season, are 4 behind and travel to Woodfield, with Hadley USC’s John Newey, with a win there possibly seeing them steal the title. Dudley Dell are 7 behind but play bottom side Willenhall Nordley B, and their Hadley USC trio will hope to inspire them to a big win which could see them sneak in if other results go there way.<\/p>\n
So it promises to be an afternoon of up and downs and our players could have a big impact of where the title goes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The Staffordshire Dudley Building Society Premier League reaches a dramatic conclusion today involving several of our Flowfit Shropshire Premier Bowling League players.
