We have several Flowfit Shropshire Premier Bowling League players in the last 32 of the Lea Hall Open, a competition that is on the reserve list of the Champion of Champions. Current holder Scott Simpson is aiming to defend his title, playing Mick Lynch first game, and may have to face fellow Sir John Bayley bowler Tom Roden if they both win, Tom facing Mark Street. Another Bayley team mate in Paul Evans takes on Mike Tunstall, both having qualified at the George Masters last week, as well as Chris Ward, who plays Bowring’s Liam Stevens. Another two league players collide as Hadley USC’s Justin Pegram plays former Huskie Jamie King, who now plays at Bowring, while Justin’s dad,\u00a0Russ, plays Geoff Boulton first game.\u00a0Nick Wyer of Hadley USC takes on Paul Beechey and Rob Steventon of Bylet qualified again, and will be looking to make the Quarter Finals like last season, and plays Ashley Hickman first game. Castlefields joint captain Andy Judson also qualified last season, and will be looking to improve his first round loss when he plays Stuart Miller.<\/p>\n
