Reigning Champion Callum Wraight of Castlefields takes on the young talent of Mitchell Harvey first round with runner up Greg Smith, who plays for Hanwood, having a tough opening game against Paul Busby of Penn, a regular in the top 5 averages of the Dudley Building Society League on a Saturday. Sir John Bayley have the most bowlers qualified from the league as a fantastic four take their place. Scott Simpson has a tough opener against Darren Plenderleith, Captain Tom Roden plays Paul Kissock from Cumbria, Ant Bracken takes on John Dewey from Derbyshire and Paul Evans plays James Seville of Warwick and Worcester.<\/p>\n<p>There are three all Premier League ties. Pete Farmer, back regular for Newport this season, competes against Duncan Pressley of Burway, reigning League Merit and Pairs Winner Josh Bradburn of Bowring takes on Colin Beaman of Meole Brace, and Josh&#8217;s team mate Rich Lawson, a former League Averages Winner, plays Andy Hughes, who played a few games last season for Ifton. Jamie Wyer, recently moved to St Georges from relegated Hadley USC, takes on the in form Josh Mordue, who has qualified in the Meole Brace, West Brom and Rudheath in a hot run of form.
