Pool A<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final of the Seaton Sports Pool A takes place between champions Castlefields and 7th placed Wem USC, who have made history getting to this stage, being the first 7th placed club to do so. Captain Scott Thomas says “we are really looking forward to tomorrow night\u2019s final. We\u2019ve played well to get there and have absolutely nothing to lose against the best side in the league. We know it will be the toughest of tests against Castlefields but we have no intentions of rolling over. Our away form has been good all season and we look forward to the challenge.” Wem USC were the last team to beat the champions in the league back in June, the Fields going on a long unbeaten run. Vice captain Graham Rogers admits “Castlefields are looking forward to the final after a long hard but very successful season for the whole club, I can’t remember a more successful season in all my years at the club. We are expecting a really tough game against Wem, they will be confident after beating St Georges in the semi and being the the league’s most improved team. But I know we will be up for winning this game we have a great team spirit that as got us through this year the only disappointment on the playing side was our county cup loss to Newport which was probably the turning point in our season, so hopefully we can continue to with our form and take home the trophy along with the Championship and Alan Mayhew Trophy.”<\/p>\n

Pool B<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final of the Seaton Sports Pool B involves record holders Ifton and 2015 winners Bowring. Ifton are looking for a record 6th crown and will fancy their chances of a green they will know well. Captain Dickie Jones says it “should be a close game but one we are looking forward too.” Bowring had a disappointing season and winning this would make up for that. Skipper Rich Lawson comments “myself and the lads are really pleased in making the Pool B final after coming through a very close game with the Bylet. We know Ifton are going to be just as tough opposition and I expect it to be a very tight match so we will need to show the same commitment and fighting qualities we showed against the Bylet. If we do that that then hopefully we can come out on top.”<\/p>\n

The draw for the greens will take place before the final, with both finals starting at 7. Scores will be on here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
