Number 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mike Hinton Pairs has been running for 15 years now since being introduced in 2004 by trophy donor Mike Hinton Pairs. The first winners were John Coxill and Pete Griffiths at Meole Brace. There were no two time winners until 2015 when Callum Wraight and Luke Jones won it for the second time. This season the same pair held on to their title in Stuart Rutter and Dan Taylor, winning it at Maddocks and Battlefield respectively. Dave Rhodes and Pete Grimston have been runners up twice, although Dave won it with Chris Grocott back in 2006. Entries were high in the early days of the competition but in recent years the entry numbers have dropped, an all time low of just 4 in 2014 took part, although after that entries improved to the mid teens and early twenties.<\/p>\n
