Sir John Bayley lost their first game at the 2019 BCGBA World Club Championships by 25 to the Grapes of Greater Manchester. They were 3 down after four as Spencer Clarke won 14 to be the best of two winners, but an 8 and 11 loser in the back four meant they lost out.
Castlefields try to repeat their exploits of last season when they play next week in this competition.
