The Quarter Finals of the Barlows Fire & Security Alan Mayhew Trophy take place tonight with 8 teams looking to make the Semi Finals. St Georges take on Hanwood in the tie of the round with both teams having enjoyed a strong start to the season, especially at home. The winners will play either Castlefields or Wrockwardine Wood, who will both be looking at this of a good chance of winning a trophy and know this will be a close game. League Champions Sir John Bayley will look to bounce back from their league defeat at St Georges by beating Hanmer. These two met in 2017 with Hanmer coming out on top, but the Bayley will have more knowledge of the difficult Hanmer green this time around. The other game is Newport against Burway, a repeat of the epic 2015 final which saw Newport come out on top in the last game of the match through man of the match Mick Jones, who could well feature again tonight.
