Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
We have two teams in the Senior Inter League Quarter Finals tonight at Donnington Wood. The Blue team, winners in 2019 and again captained by Rob Burroughs, play Mid Shropshire B on the New Green, while the team they beat in the final, the White team skippered by Jamie King, take on Market Drayton on the old green. The Blue team feature three ex homesters in Ayden Smith, Chris Worthington and Kane Beaman, while our Merit winner Scott Simpson takes part along three others who won it in 2019, Ash & Darren Wellings and Pete Farmer. The White team are all 30 and under, with Jamie, Aaron and our League Secretary Martin Gaut those who took part in that final. 2021 Merit Winner Phil Jones comes in, as well as Cheryl Caswell to become our first every lady player in this competition.
