St Georges played an unregistered player in their game on Wednesday 5th July against Burway.
This breaks rule 4 of the Match Rule which states:
“No player shall be eligible to play in any league match or competition organised by the Premier League unless he has been officially registered online.”
The unanimous decision of the Management Committee that, in accordance with Match Rule 4, the following penalty is imposed on St Georges Bowling Club:-
“In the event of a club playing an unregistered player a fine of £25 will be payable to the league by the offending club. In addition the game in which the unregistered player took part shall be awarded to the opposing team 21-0 and two points deducted from the offending club.”
This will be reflected in the league table.
