Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The Wrockwardine Wood Open returns tomorrow with a quality field assembled. Shropshire Merit winner Rich Lawson of Hanwood is there, as well as former winner Pete Farmer of St Georges, and his team mate Clay Flattley. Brothers Joe and Tom Killen have gained plenty of experience in competitions this season, while Highley captain Reece Farr has enjoyed sensational runs to the Meole Open and All England finals. Sir John Bayley captain Dave Lloyd is a former Shropshire Merit winner, while Hanwood’s Ash Wellings is a former Junior Merit winner. There are several big names from outside Shropshire taking part, including Derbyshire’s Conor Chamberlain and Dan Petcher, Warwick and Worcester’s Gareth Herbert and Elliot McGuinness and North Midlands trio of Pete Varney, Steve Pratt and Darren Plenderleith.
