Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Sir John Bayley and Castlefields both lost in their second game to qualify in the BCGBA World Club Championships at Dudley Dell. The Bayley lost to the Greville Arms by just 9 chalks in their second game, having four winners led by captain Dave Lloyd 14. They had beaten Woodman Mount Pleasant by 9 in their first game, having 4 winners again, Ayden Smith best of those 13. Castlefields lost to Willenhall Nordley by 34 with just Ash Wellings winning 14. They had a fine first win over King George V by 14, Jon Palmer best winner 7 at number one.
