2023 Aim: Aim for your team: To not finish bottom again!! After a disaster with not getting a team together consistently until the back end of last season I’m hoping we can push on towards mid table where we were hovering the previous few years. Having a number of signings return and holding onto everyone other than Sammy, I think we are in a much stronger position to do that. A deep cup run in any competition would be great as well.

Comments: Bylet performed much better than last season, finishing well away from bottom spot. This was despite them not beating 5 of the top 6 again like last season, only getting four winners at home to Wrockwardine Wood and then 2 at home to Sir John Bayley early on, but did beat Ifton after a heavy loss to them last season. Just 5 points from 3 away games at the halfway point could have been fatal, but a potential club record run of 4 straight wins, including a win at Burway 12-4, meant it wasn’t. Despite a home loss to Wem USC, home wins over Highley and Hanwood meant a 12th place finish despite a loss to Castlefields in their penultimate game.
