Comments: Burway had a solid season considering they so nearly didn’t start it! It was even more remarkable considering they lost their first 7 games, albeit getting 7 winners at home twice, until they beat Wem USC 12-2. They then followed that up with a win at Meole Brace 9-7, and a 11-3 home win over Adderley. They beat Castlefields at home 8-6, but then scored 4 in the next five games, a possible record in the league. They had a further two away wins, up north 11-5 at Chester Road and 12-4 at Burway, and drew at Adderley with 8 winners. A crazy home win over Wrockwardine Wood also featured, winning 9-5 with 10 games being single figure cards with potentially the lowest ever aggregate total in the league for a 12 a side game!
