Comments: Hanmer had their best season in a 14 team league finishing in a top half position and scoring their highest ever points total. It all started badly though with a home loss against Chester Road, but then they won away at Burway and beat the Bayley at home. A 14-2 win away at Adderley shot them up the table, sandwiched between two double figure points hauls at home. They lost at home to Castlefields at the mid point of the season, but didn’t lose at home again. Despite not scoring more than 4 away from home in the second half, they had done enough in the first half to keep their 7th place.
