The COVID pandemic saw the 2020 season wiped out, while the 2021 season didn’t start until May, and saw only 12 teams take part, Burway and Newport sitting out for a year. It was all about getting bowlers back on the green despite it going down to 10 a side for the first time in the league’s history. On the green it was Sir John Bayley who won their third title by 16 points to Castlefields, winning home and away against their main rivals being key. It was Jamie King of Wrockwardine Wood who won the League Averages for the first time, while Alex Jones won the Most Consecutive Wins with 13.

Phil Jones came out on top of 8 entries at the Bowring to beat holder Liam Stevens 14, while Darrell Handley and Nick Wyer won the Mike Hinton Pairs at Hadley USC, defeating Callum Wraight and Andy Judson in the final 20 in a thrilling final.
