Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
At our AGM 27 years ago the first vote was taken between two teams on who should make the 14th team in the league for the 1997 season. The two clubs were Bylet and Ifton, with Bylet gaining 8 votes and Ifton 5.
As it turned out Hadley USC unfortunately pulled out at the March Meeting so the league ran with 13 teams, and Ifton were invited to take their place in the 1998 season.
The next vote to take place at an AGM on who to have as the 14th team was just this year when Horsehay were voted into the league by 7 votes to 5.
