The final 3 sessions of the Edgmond Open take place over the next three evenings.
Tonight sees a cracking field assembled including our 25th Anniversary Competition winner Keith Wall, last year’s Meole Open winner Andy Hughes, our League Secretary Martin Gaut and former League Averages winner Jamie King. Tom Killen has had an impressive start to the season, and Highley duo Stu Gittings and Danny Statham take part while Clay Flattley and Wayne Phillips have won big competitions before.
Saturday sees Ifton’s Owen Jackson there along with new Bayley recruits Scott Harries and Reece Farr, and former Bylet man Nick Wyer. Pete Farmer starts his quest to win yet another title in Shropshire, with Dan Williams gaining plenty of experience on the competition circuit lately. Potteries duo Andy and Danny Ferris are another pairing with plenty of experience as well as Craig Hopwood from Yorkshire.
Sunday evening has Wrockwardine Wood’s Greg Smith taking part along with team mate Sam Millward. Our Merit winner Nicky Jones is there with his Dad Dickie, as well as new Horsehay signing Craig Baugh and St Georges’ Cody Everitt. A Potteries foursome is also there with Matt Hill, Nick Tideswell, Chris Cooper and Craig Podmore all playing.
