Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The East won the second ever Inter Area competition after beating the West in the final by 56 shots. They had beaten the North by 35 in the first round after being level after four games off, while the West defeated the South by 12, despite having just 3 winners. A full report on each of the three games are below.

Final:
Chris Grocott raced 10-0 up on Aiden Hughes and was 16-2 up before Aiden got back to trail 16-7. However Chris ran out.
Rich Lawson was 15-7 and 19-11 up on Joe Killen but Joe got back in the corners to lead 20-19 however Rich got the two he needed.
Josh Bradburn went 11-4 up on Colin Smith and from 14-8 up ran out.
Will Childs was 19-11 up on Michael Cooper but Michael got back to 20-19 down before Will got out.
Martin Gaut was 7 across with Julian Cooke and then ran out.
Mark Thomas was 12-9 up on Tom Roden but then from 17-15 down ran out.
Jamie King was 10-9 down on Simon Lewis but only conceded one more.
Gavin Bridge was 9-0 up on Doug Edwards who got back to 12-7 down. He went 17-7 ahead and won 9.

Semi Final (East v North):
Chris Grocott was always ahead of Chris Stretch and won 9.
Dickie Jones was 9-1 up on Jamie King but Jamie got back to lead 13-11. Dickie went back ahead and won 17.
Tom Killen was 5 across with Michael Cooper and from 13-9 up won 11.
Josh Bradburn was 10-7 up on Nathan Lacey but then 15-11 down. He fought back and won 19.
Joe Killen from 9-7 up on Joe Langford won 11.
Gavin Bridge was only 6-5 up on Ade Jennings but from 12-8 up won 10.
Tom Roden from 4-2 down went 15-4 up on Dave Ellison, who fought back to get 13.
Martin Gaut was 13-4 up on Jack Hazeldine who from 20-10 down got back to 15.

Semi Final (West v South):
Rich Lawson was 11-4 up on Andy James and kept this lead to win 14.
Rob Burroughs was 8-5 down on Aiden Hughes but went 19-11 up from 11 across and won 11.
Will Childs from 4-0 down went 8-4 up and kept extending his lead to win 10.
Danny Statham was 11-3 up on Colin Smith and then 16-9. Colin got back to trail 16-15 but Danny got out 16.
Sean Lockley was 12-6 and 18-13 down on Mark Thomas but ran out.
Julian Cooke was always ahead of Joe Dicken to win 8.
Cheryl Caswell went 10-5 down on Doug Edwards but from 15-10 behind went 19-15 up and won 20.
Stu Gittings went 13-0 down against an inspired Simon Lewis but got the block and got back to 13-11 down. Simon was 20-14 up but Stu ran out.
