There are just 8 spaces left in the finals of the Edgmond Open. Last year’s winner Greg Smith looks to retain the trophy and plays on the Saturday, but faces stiff competition from former Edgmond winner Wayne Rogers and previous big competition winners Nathan Dawes, Adam Penlington and Gareth Herbert. The Sunday sees All England winners Darren Plenderleith and Ryan Prosser there, as well as Spring Ladies Waterloo Open winner Cheryl Caswell and Dan Petcher playing in this for the first time from Derbyshire.
