An encouraging entry of 18 pairs took part in the Mike Hinton Doubles trophy today at Bicton, Shrewsbury. The final saw Derek Wright and Clay Flattley from Chester Road and Castlefields take on Pete Grimston and Dave Rhodes from Sir John Bayley and Newport. Derek and Clay were to prove successful and win the Mike Hinton trophy for the first time with a 21-12 success.
