Record 6 of 25: Most SPBL Merit Wins

Pete Farmer holds the record with 6 SPBL Merit wins. He won the first ever Merit back in 1994 at Tilstock, beating Ian Lealand in the final. He won his second in 1999 when beating Martin Lloyd in 1999 in the final at Greenfields, and then again in 2002 when defeating Spencer Clarke at Donnington Wood. He then won three in a row between 2007 and 2009, beating Paul Williams, Andy Duckett and Dave King in those three finals. He then lost in the next two finals, in 2010 to Darren Wellings and 2011 to Roy Bradburn.
