Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Sinclair shocked another Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League opponent after beating Hanwood home and away in the Quarter Finals of the Audlem Special Events Team Alan Mayhew Trophy. Captain Harry Church says “it was a great result the lads were fired up and I think it showed with the result. We wish Hanwood the best of luck for the rest of the season.” They won by 25 at home, Conor Chamberlain best winner 6, and by 24 away, best winner being Jordan Millman 11. They will now meet Highley, who defeated Meole Brace home and away. They won by 14 at home, Dave Scriven the difference 21-7, and by 3 away, Phil Chester best winner 14.
Castlefields defeated Sir John Bayley by 21 to set up a Semi Final against Wrockwardine Wood. They were down after 3 games off at each venue, but came back to win by 44 at home, Mike Beer best winner 7, and lost by just 23 away, Jamie King best winner 18.
