Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Leighton Roberts of Ifton and Wayne Rogers of Burway reached the quarter finals of the Flowfit Champion of Champions today, the best of the Flowfit Shropshire Premier League bowlers. Wayne had beaten Jason Jones 15 and Matt Horton 14 before losing to Matt Gilmore, with Leighton defeating Kieran Smith 16 and Castlefields’ Callum Wraight 3 before losing to eventual winner Gary Ellis. Callum had earlier beaten Lee Heaton 19 in the 1st round, while Scott Simpson of Sir John Bayley beat Dan Taylor 15 first round before losing to Matt Gilmore in the second. Greg Smith of Hanwood was defeated by Glynn Cookson in the 1st round.
Gary Ellis beat Glynn Cookson 18 in the final.
