Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Callum Wraight of Castlefields reached another final at Severnside but lost to Nathan Dawes 21-14 from Dudley Dell in the main final. A much improved 102 entries took part with the mild temperatures and three Shropshire County Players reached the Semi Finals. Callum beat Jamie King of Bowring 12 while Sir John Bayley’s Tom Roden followed up his Quarter Final appearance last week by reaching the Semis and getting 16 off Nathan.
In the consolation and Kevin Nicholas, who played 10 games for Ifton last season, beat Daniel Bennett of West Brom 15 in the final. Adam Jones of Castlefields reached the last four, losing 18 to Daniel, while Kevin beat Daniel’s clubmate Matt Hocknull 19 in the other Semi Final.
