We have nine players in the finals of the West Brom Open with Callum Wraight of Castlefields looking for his second triumph in a week after winning the St Georges Open, and plays Matt Price first up. Sir John Bayley have three players in the field with Paul Evans taking on Mark Denman, joint captain Chris Worthington playing Matt Higgins and new signing Elliot McGuinness playing Bill Kinchin. Recent Bowring signing Martin Gaut takes on South Yorkshire’s Danny Sillitoe, and Chester Road’s Martin Lloyd has a tough game against former Midland Masters winner Gary Owen. Newport captain Sam Millward has qualified for all three Midland pre season competitions, and takes on Andrew Gallagher, while St Georges’ Lewis Scott takes on Bowring’s Reece Farr.
