Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
Nine of our Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier Bowling League players head to the Grange in Warrington looking for BCGBA Senior Individual Merit success. Callum Wraight of Castlefields will be one of the favourites to triumph being a former winner, and takes on Chris Mordue from Yorkshire, who won the 2010 Champion of Champions. His team mate Steve Freer has plenty of experience to go far, and plays Matt Blackmore of North Midlands. Sir John Bayley have three players in the field. Shropshire Merit Winner Spencer Clarke takes on Jon Worsnop of Yorkshire, being in great form, while Elliot McGuinness has a tough game against former runner-up Steve Pratt of North Midlands and Chris Ward will face a familiar foe in Tony Rhodes of St Georges. Hanwood’s Wayne Phillips and Ash Wellings play Lancashire’s Neil Bithell and Matthew Worden of Wales, while St Georges’ Nick Wyer plays Warwick & Worcester’s James Seville.
