Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The Salop Leisure Shropshire Premier Bowling League have a fab five heading north to Blackpool to take part in the Champion of Champions. Castlefields’ Callum Wraight aims to go one better than last season and the Meole Open winner plays Martin Gilpin first on. His team mate Jon Palmer hopes to continue his form from earlier in the week on the same green as he takes on Craig Podmore. Greg Smith of Hanwood would love to get his hands on one of the few prizes he hasn’t won and opens up against Gary Owen, while Sir John Bayley’s Spencer Clarke and Nick Wyer from St Georges make their first appearances there and play Matty Gilmore and Matthew Worden respectively.
