2023 saw the closest ever finish in the league, as Sir John Bayley won the league by a single point to Castlefields in one of the best title races in the league, with the Bayley being the most improved team also. Previous Champions Wrockwardine finished 3rd, while St Georges were in 4th. Wem USC finished bottom in another close battle with Adderley, but avoided having to play in a play off as no team applied, the first time this has happened since 1998.

Alex Jones won both the Most Consecutive Wins and League Averages prizes again, becoming only the 3rd player to win the League Averages twice. The League Merit also had history as the first Ifton player won it, Nicky Jones, after beating Jamie King in the final 18. Jamie though did win the Mike Hinton Pairs with Scott Harries at Sinclair, defeating Kiah Roberts and Wayne Rogers in the final 9.
